A contemporary blackletter for display. One broad nib at 30 degrees swept along straight skeletons; every terminal is cut on the same prism facet. Lens is an outline cut with Bold's metrics, made to be stacked over Bold.
- Regular and Bold, plus Lens, an outline utility cut drawn on Bold with identical metrics.
- Features: kern, liga (ff fi fl ffi ffl), hist (long s), ss01 flourished capitals, ss02 split capitals, ss03 finialed ascenders, case, lnum/onum, tnum/pnum, sups/subs/sinf/numr/dnom/frac, mark/mkmk.
- Display face: use at 32 px and up; the hairline thins out below that.
- Latin only: Basic Latin, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A, punctuation, currency, a few relations and arrows.
- Unhinted prototype; not offered for redistribution.

Known limitations
- Not trademark-cleared: the name Quarrel was only checked by a web search (only 'Lovers Quarrel', a script, turned up).
- Digits, ampersand, at-sign, section and pilcrow are first drafts and are plainer than the letters.
- Capitals Q, S, K and G are the least resolved shapes; ss03 finials suit b d h best.
- Kerning is computed from outline gaps and was only checked on about 45 pairs by eye.
- No hinting; Windows rendering at small sizes will rely on grayscale smoothing.
