A connected monoline script. Letters really join: a modulated pen, contextual entry and exit hairlines at three heights, and strokes that loop back through the stroke they just made.
- Three static cuts, Light, Regular and Bold; no italic, the lean (9 degrees) is built in.
- Features: calt (the joins), liga (ff tt), ss01 (capitals connect to the next letter), ccmp, case, onum, kern, mark.
- Latin only: Basic Latin, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A; no Vietnamese stacked marks, Greek or Cyrillic.
- Unhinted prototype; not offered for redistribution.

Known limitations
- Capitals are the plainest part: only O, Q, C, E, G and S curl; the rest are tidy handwriting capitals without the signature loop, and narrower than the lowercase.
- The s after a high join (o p r v w b, plural -ps -rs -os) is legible but is the weakest join in the 26x26 matrix.
- a, d, g and q have no visible loop: their return stroke is the retraced stem. The loop idea lives in b f g h j k l s y and the e eye.
- Only ff and tt ligate; old-style figures, superiors (1 2 3) and fractions (1/4 1/2 3/4) are the lining figures scaled, with no sups/frac features.
- Kerning is computed (about 12,000 class pairs per cut) and checked on proofs, not tuned pair by pair.
- Latin only: no Vietnamese stacked marks (no mkmk), Greek or Cyrillic. Unhinted. One slant (9 degrees, built in); post.italicAngle is 0 on purpose.
- Contextual alternates need an OpenType shaper (browsers, InDesign, Figma, Pages do; plain-text editors may not).
- Name 'Whorl' was checked by web search only (nothing found under that name); no trademark or font-database clearance was done.
The designer's own list, copied unchanged from the font's hand-off manifest.
