For iconstructa6 cuts · v1.000
Towering blackletter capitals over a small, hard lowercase. Every glyph is cut by two prism planes (14 and -52 degrees) and the facets slide apart with a hairline gap tied to the stem, so a word reads as one object refracted through glass. Whole is the same face with no cuts for text sizes; Facet is an overprint layer of the displaced facets, Color a three-tone colour font.

- Cut cuts: Light, Regular, Bold for display at 56 px and up. Whole and Whole Bold are the same outlines uncut with identical advances and kerning, for 24 to 56 px and text.
- Facet and Facet Bold are overprint layers (only the displaced facets) with the same advances, kerning and vertical metrics as Regular and Bold: set the same text twice in the same box and colour the layer. Color is a COLRv0 font of Regular with three facet tones and a light and a dark palette.
- Features: kern, liga (ff fi fl ffi ffl), hist (long s), ss01 flourished capitals (the first cut plane leaks out as a hairline pennant), ss02 mirrored cut planes, ss03 deep-cut lowercase, case, lnum/onum, tnum/pnum, sups/subs/sinf/numr/dnom/frac, mark/mkmk.
- Latin only: Basic Latin, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A, punctuation, currency, a few relations and arrows.
- Unhinted prototype; not offered for redistribution.

Known limitations
- Not trademark-cleared: the name was not searched beyond the owner's own use of Quarrel for the earlier family.
- The cut cuts fray below about 48 px (gaps under one pixel, facets of the lowercase turn into noise); Whole is the cut for text, and Light's gaps vanish below about 72 px.
- Facets align across a word only by shared angle and shared datum (every glyph's P1 passes through its own centre at the same height); the line is a gentle sawtooth, not one continuous line, because a font cannot know the next glyph's position (contextual alternates would be needed).
- The slide pushes facets up to about 45 units (capitals) or 30 units (lowercase) beyond the advance box; kerning keeps a margin but extreme pairs (AV, LT) nearly touch.
- Capital E is a Lombardic form and can read as a reversed 3 at first glance; K, M and G are busier than the others where the planes cross their joints.
- Digits, ampersand, at-sign, section, pilcrow and currency signs are plainer than the letters; old-style figures are first drafts; the at-sign is a first draft.
- Caps with accents are very tall (about 1100 units): hhea ascender is 1100 and descender -320, so the default line height is large; set line-height explicitly.
- Facet and Color fonts rely on stacking or COLRv0 support; Facet intentionally fails fontbakery's empty-letter and contour-count checks (letters without a displaced facet are empty).
- Kerning is computed from outline gaps and was checked by eye on about 100 pairs only; no contextual kerning for ss01; no hinting.
The designer's own list, copied unchanged from the font's hand-off manifest.
