An icon font built like a typeface: 322 pictograms on one 24 unit grid, one stroke logic, and the 14 degree prism facet cut into every open stroke end. Type an icon name and the ligature draws it.
- 322 icons on one 24 unit construction grid (1 u = 1/24 em, so 1 u is one pixel at 24 px); live area 20 u, centre on the 960/-240 text box so icons sit on a line of Dioptra text.
- One stroke logic: centre-line skeletons, round joins, and every open stroke end cut on a 14 degree prism facet (the same world angle for every end); dots are 14 degree tile squares.
- Five cuts: Regular, Bold, Fill (knock-out solids), Back (overprint tint layer) and Duo (COLRv0, three palettes).
- Input: type the icon name (lowercase words, hyphen or underscore, e.g. arrow-right) with liga or calt on; every name is verified with HarfBuzz. Each icon also has a Private Use codepoint (U+E000 to U+E3FF, blocks per category) and 71 have a standard Unicode codepoint (arrows, check, star, heart, media controls, geometric shapes).
- Unhinted prototype; not offered for redistribution.

Known limitations
- Unhinted and built on a 24 u grid but at 16 px the 2 u stroke is 1.33 px, so strokes do not snap to whole pixels (they stay legible and are never thinner than 1.3 px); Bold at 16 px closes the smallest counters (settings, wheel, aperture, help, warning).
- The input letters (a to z, 0 to 9, hyphen, underscore) are empty zero-width glyphs: a misspelt icon name shows nothing, and fontbakery flags the empty letters, the zero-width input glyphs and the monospace heuristic (all waived on purpose, see README).
- Names are matched as raw text: a name inside a longer word (for example 'sun' in 'sunday') becomes an icon, so set the font only on icon-only spans. There is no word-boundary guard.
- Fill and Duo depend on the body/detail split drawn per icon; icons made only of strokes (arrows, chevrons, menu) have no Back layer, so Duo shows them in the text colour only.
- Wrench-style and figure drawings (hand, hammer, key, plane, rocket, flame) are first drafts built from the same primitives; they are the least refined part of the set.
- Generic shapes only: no brand logos. Icon names such as 'camera' or 'bubble' are neutral placeholders. The name 'Ikonel' was checked by web search only; no trademark or font-database clearance was done.
- COLRv0 is flat two-colour and works in all current browsers; Duo is not a variable or gradient colour font.
