A heavy condensed display face of chamfered letters, round studs and spike terminals, drawn for Soma Capone: one solid master, studded and knit cuts, and two layer fonts for gold or chrome studs.
- Eight cuts of one heavy weight: Regular, Studded, Pyramid, Knit, Inline, Outline, and two overprint layers (Studs, Pyramids) that sit exactly on Regular.
- Features: kern, mark, mkmk, ccmp, case, zero (slashed), sups/subs/numr/dnom, ss01 (spike arms), ss02 (crown spikes on stem tops), ss03 (stakes below the baseline); ss01 to ss03 combine.
- Latin only: Basic Latin, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A, arrows, a few symbols and icons (stud, spike, mask eye, pyramid, knit) on U+E000 to U+E004.
- Unhinted prototype; not offered for redistribution.

Known limitations
- One heavy weight only: no light or bold, no italic, no variable axes.
- Latin only: no Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese stacks, or African Latin letters.
- The two layer fonts need two stacked text runs (or a colour-font wrapper) to show their colour; used alone they print only dots. There is no COLR cut yet.
- Spacing and kerning are computed from outline profiles and checked on proof sheets, not tuned pair by pair; expect pairs a hand kerner would change, especially r and f followed by round letters.
- Studs are placed by one rule (inside free terminals and dots); on diagonal feet and blade tips they sit visibly closer to the edge than on stems.
- Spike alternates widen the glyph; ss02 crowns on K, X, Y and V tops, and ss03 stakes on N, are the roughest.
- Ampersand, at, section, currency, pilcrow, copyright and registered are first drafts; the numbers 3 and 8 are tight at small sizes.
- Accent placement is rule-based (anchor on the optical centre of each base); stacked accents (mkmk) are functional, not drawn.
- Knit, Inline and Outline are display cuts: below about 48 px the texture clogs; they are not meant for text.
- Unhinted: Windows GDI aliased rendering below about 11 px will look uneven.
- Name 'Hobnail' was checked against a web search only (a first choice, Knurl, was dropped because a typeface named Knul and a band named Knurl exist); no trademark or font-database clearance was done.
The designer's own list, copied unchanged from the font's hand-off manifest.
